Castle in the air
This area just outside Bergeijk used to be home to a castle. The castle was initially called ‘Huis Berch Eyck’. During the Eighty Years' War it became one of the many defences around Den Bosch. The information board shows where the castle used to stand. If you stand in just the right place, the ruin rises above the trees again just as it did in the past.

Cultuurhuis Bergeijk (Bergeijk Cultural Centre)
Cultuurhuis Bergeijk is located in the restored farming wing of one of Bergeijk's oldest buildings, the Teutenhuis, at Domineestraat 8A in Bergeijk. The cultural centre works with various other organisations to make Bergeijk's rich cultural and historical offering more visible and accessible. The aim of the Cultuurhuis is to connect people. That is why various entertaining temporary exhibitions, displays, interesting tours and fun activities for children take place there every year. There is also a beautiful sculpture and botanical garden next to the Cultuurhuis with the 'Diamond Greenhouse', also known as the Glass Pavilion.

The Botanical and Sculpture Garden
Behind the Teutenhuis Visitor Centre on Domineestraat 6a is a Sculpture and Botanical Garden which is well worth a visit, bursting with colourful flowers, shrubs, hedges and unique sculptures. The garden was designed by 'Buro Mien Ruys Tuin- en Landschapsarchitecten'. The garden features sculptures by Bergeijk artist Harrie Verhoeven.

Members of the Bergeijk artists’ association exhibit their work In the Glass Pavilion in the grounds of the Botanical and Sculpture Garden. The Glass Pavilion was designed by Gabriel Lester. It was built by John van Lierop. The pavilion is attractively lit in the evening with blue LED lights.
